When using the Bill Payment option how is the transaction completed?

Once the biller is added and the payment is requested, you can select the first available payment date or any date after for guaranteed payment. If the biller is in the Bill Pay system, an ACH transaction may occur, if not, the Bill Pay system will draft a check. If the payment is ACH, it will come out of your account on the date requested. If the payment is paper check, it will not come out of your account until the check is cashed by the payee.
